The goal of the Exhibiting Artist program is to provide local and international visual artists an opportunity to exhibit artwork at the City of Buena Park’s City Council Chamber for six weeks. The program also is intended to nurture working relationships & partnerships between local and international artists, presenters, arts organizations and the greater Buena Park community.

Color Revealed
A Group Exhibit by participating artists of
Arts and Services for Disabled, Inc.


The City of Buena Park Fine Arts Commission is proud to present Color Revealed, a group exhibit by participating artists of Arts & Services for Disabled, Inc.Color Revealed presents a collection of paintings individual in their content yet connected by bold displays of color. More than mere eye candy, the vibrant imagery & abstractions reveal powerful and unique expressions, ideas, and stories from each artist. Their spirited presence is hard to miss. Which one will catch your eye and draw you in?

Join us for the artists’ opening reception being held on Monday, July 12 th, 2010 from 12pm to 2pm at the Buena Park City Hall Council Chambers. Light refreshments will be served. Artwork will be available for purchase and will support student artists as well as future ASD exhibitions and programming. The exhibition will run from June 22nd – August 19 th, 2010. City Hall Council Chambers is located at 6650 Beach Blvd., Buena Park, CA 90621. Visitors are welcome Monday through Thursday and the last Friday of every month, from 7:30am – 5:30pm. Group tours for students are also available; please call the Fine Arts Office at (714) 236-3869 to schedule an appointment. Space is wheelchair accessible.

Arts & Services for Disabled, Inc. (ASD) is a non-profit organization that provides life-long learning, community service and career opportunities through the creative arts for people with disabilities in an environment of warmth, encouragement and respect.

Artwork Submission Information

The Exhibiting Artist Program is open to artists working in painting, design, photography, and mixed media. No artists working with installations or sculptures can be accepted. All artwork must be larger than 16"x20" for exhibition .

Artwork Submissions must include artist resume/bio, artist statement, and 10-15 jpeg images of artwork (please include titles/sizes/medium).

Submissions are reviewed twice a year by the Fine Arts Commission's Exhibiting Artist Committee. Those artists selected will be contacted. Exhibitions run approximately 6-8 weeks at City Hall Council Chambers. City Hall is located at 6650 Beach Boulevard in Buena Park and is open Monday through Friday, 7:30am - 5:30pm, with alternating Fridays closed.
